How To Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon lies in the top left edge as well as resembles 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion having the message or messages you want to delete. If it is not noted on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to see every one of your personal messages. Click the discussion on that listing including the message you want to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" switch and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Activities drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located next to the messages you intend to remove.
Click "Delete" and afterwards click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you intend to remove the picked messages.
Idea
To remove a whole conversation as opposed to specific messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the 3rd step.
Caution
Deleting a personal message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
