Erase Notifications On Facebook
Sadly, those who comment on your posts are authorizing themselves up for days of notifications, as everybody you recognize comments as well. It's even more of a disincentive to comment than anything else.
But there are methods to comment without succumbing to the assault of notifications. You could, for example, enter into the notifications tab in your account's setups and develop regulations for when you wish to get alerts as well as when you don't.
But you can also delete specific notifications that you no more want to see piled up on your notifications tab. Below's how to do so on your Facebook account, either on desktop computer or using your mobile device:
Exactly how to remove notifications on Facebook on desktop
Nearly all notifications can be deleted, except for automatic ones fresh login signals. For every one of the other ones, below's exactly how to get it done:
1. Go to your Facebook account.
2. In the upper right corner, click the notifications sign (the bell).
3. Find the notification you intend to remove and touch the 3 dots in the appropriate edge of that notification.
4. Select "Remove this notification"
You might see other options, depending upon the sort of notification. For instance, on public groups, you might have the choice only to get notifications from good friends.
How to erase notifications on Facebook on mobile
The procedure is generally the like it gets on the desktop computer version, with only a pair tiny differences:
1. Open your Facebook application.
2. Toggle over to your notifications, located on the right side of the top toolbar (it looks like a bell).
3. Alongside the notification you want to erase, touch the 3 dots.
4. Faucet "Remove this notification"
