Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages symbol lies in the top left corner as well as looks like 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion consisting of the message or messages you intend to delete. If it is not provided on the preliminary Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out all of your personal messages. Click the conversation on that listing including the message you wish to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and afterwards click "Delete Messages" on the Activities drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes situated next to the messages you want to delete.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to validate that you want to erase the chosen messages.
Tip
To delete a whole conversation as opposed to specific messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the 3rd action.
Warning
Erasing a private message in your Messages inbox does not erase it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
