Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages symbol lies in the top left edge and also resembles 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion including the message or messages you want to delete. If it is not provided on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out all of your private messages. Click the conversation on that particular listing having the message you intend to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and then click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located alongside the messages you wish to erase.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you want to erase the selected messages.
Pointer
To erase an entire discussion rather than specific messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the 3rd action.
Warning
Removing a private message in your Messages inbox does not delete it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
