Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon lies in the top left edge and also appears like 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the discussion including the message or messages you wish to erase. If it is not noted on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to watch every one of your exclusive messages. Click the conversation on that list having the message you intend to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" switch and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located next to the messages you want to delete.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you wish to delete the picked messages.
Tip
To delete an entire conversation as opposed to specific messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third action.
Warning
Deleting a private message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your discussion companion.
